Dear Parent/Guardian/Student:

The Westfield Public Schools has updated the Student-Parent Handbook for the 2011-2012 school year.  There is a great deal of valuable information contained within the handbook.  We ask that each family (parent/guardians and students) review the handbook and return the enclosed signature sheet.

One signature sheet acknowledges receipt of the Handbook and the other is a Release of Student Images.  The high school level also has an additional signature sheet which involves NCLB Recruiter Access to Student Information. 

This year we are sending the signature sheets home along with this letter.  All the handbooks will now be available on On-Line at the Westfield Public Schools Website.  The Web address is: http://www.schoolsofwestfield.org/ The information can be found under the subheading “Schools”.  Just click on the “handbook” section and select your child’s school.  If you do not have on line access, please send a note in with your child and we will be happy to supply you with a hard copy. 

If English is not your dominant language and you would prefer to have the handbook provided in Spanish, Russian or Ukranian, please send a request in with your child and we will be happy to forward a translated copy to you.
