Westfield High School history teacher Mark Dargie has been taking advantage of working with the Children’s Corner Laboratory Preschool and the Fort Meadow Early Childhood Center to expand the goals for the required freshman course.
“One of the overall goals is to get kids interested in teaching education in general, and in teaching preschool kids,” Dargie said, referring to the nationwide teacher shortage which is also impacting preschools.
