Franklin Avenue Elementary School

Our community generously supports Franklin Avenue, and what a pleasure it was to recognize one of our contributors, Mr. Gary Hagar, a city police officer and owner of Pay it Forward Recycling.  Gary is a Community Book Link sponsor for Links to Libraries.  His contributions put hundreds of books in the hands of Franklin Avenue's third and fourth grade students.   It was an extra special treat for Mrs. Tolpa to thank him, since Gary was a former student of hers when she was the assistant principal at Westfield High School.   "It makes me proud when I see former students of WPS, such as Gary, engaging in such community projects.  He truly is "Paying it Forward" to our students, and we are grateful."
