Today Mrs. Ward and I received a special surprise from Mrs. Elliston's first grade class! The class made each of us a book of what they would do if they were the principal or assistant principal. They also shared what they would do when they weren't in their office, rules they would change and what they would do when they got home. Lastly, they told us why they would love being principal or assistant principal and drew beautiful pictures. What a wonderful gift--this was such a special surprise! The number one suggestion was to have at least 5 recesses each day and the number two was to let kids eat candy at school! Thank you Mrs. Elliston and kids! Mrs. Ward and I agree that the best part of our job is working with all of the incredible kids at SRS!
