Westfield High School sophomore Teagan Chisholm-Godshalk was stunned to hear her name called as the Sanofi Grand Prize winner in the Massachusetts Region 1 Science Fair on March 8, and that she will be invited to compete at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles in May.
“I was completely blown away with my heart racing when I heard my name being called for the Region 1 Science and Engineering Fair Grand Prize Winner and one of the Mass. delegates. It is truly something I never thought would happen,” Chisholm-Godshalk said about the moment captured by school district Science, Technology and Engineering Supervisor Lauren Cadigan in a photo.
