A small group of WIS students was able to experience "A Day in the Life at Westfield Barnes Airport" last week. Students learned about the different aircrafts at the airport and their maintenance, heard how Fly Lugu provides flight training, spent some time on a flight simulator with Western Massachusetts Wright Flight, and more. We are very grateful for this exciting opportunity offered to our students and the coordination of the experience by everyone at the airport. A huge shout out to Fly Lugu, Atlantic Aviation, Aero Design Aircraft Services, Mike Gutowski at Wright Flight, and WIS teacher Mrs. Carey for making this happen.
