Westfield Technical Academy students, staff, advisory board members, and business supporters held a ceremonial ribbon cutting this morning for their construction project on Mill Street in Westfield. Students in construction built the house, cabinet making students made the cabinets, electrical wiring students did all of the electrical work in the home, and students in horticulture completed the landscaping. This was a great project. And it sold after one showing! Collaboration and authentic learning at its best.
