Hello, Munger families!
K Kids is participating in the 35th Annual "Souper Bowl of Caring". For the next few weeks we will be collecting cans of soup to donate to our local food pantry. Notices are coming home to families as well and collection tables are set up in the lobby for donations.
There is a table for the Upper Wing donations and Lower Wing donations to see which wing donates the most soup! We will also be putting a collection box outside the school for community members to donate.
Thank you in advance for your donations and your generosity.

I am pleased to announce that we have hired a new Assistant Principal!
Leslee Sharon will be starting on Monday, December 9th.
Ms. Sharon holds degrees from Springfield College, Westfield State, and AIC, including her bachelors degree and a Masters in Educational Psychology. She also completed the Massachusetts School Administrator's Association administration training program for her certification in administration.
She comes to us from the Ludlow school district, where she has been teaching since 2014 as a PE teacher. She worked in the Springfield school district before that for several years as a PE/Health teacher as well and is well versed in working with students with a variety of backgrounds.
Ms. Sharon has a strong background in both academic knowledge and student discipline and took a lead role in her building on the ILT, safety committee, medical emergency team, and worked with the special education department to meet the needs of all students. While this will be her first administrative role she has great background knowledge and is looking forward to putting her experience to work for us.
Please join me in welcoming her to the team on Monday, December 9th! We are so glad to have her at Munger and know she will be a valued member of our team.

Dear Munger Families:
As we break for Thanksgiving I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being such an important part of our school community. Your daily support, encouragement, and dedication to your children's education mean so much to all of us. Together, we are helping our students grow, thrive, and succeed.
We wish you and your loved ones a restful and relaxing break. May this time bring you moments of joy and connection.
Enjoy your vacation and we'll see you soon!
