Paper Mill Families:
We had a FANTASTIC first week of school! We introduced our new mascot and PAWS expectations to students. Students were earning lots of Panda Paws this week. The students have adjusted nicely to the back-to-school routine. Next week we start our PBIS Raffles
We are excited to have our youngest learners, Kindergarten, join us on Tuesday! This was a great way to start our school year off!

Only 16 days left until school starts on Tuesday, August 30, for all students in grades 1-12. Pre-K and Kindergarten students will start school on Tuesday, September 6.
WELCOME Incoming Kindergarten families! We are excited to get to know our youngest learners. Please note the important upcoming dates below:
August 24, 2022- Kindergarten Play Date- we offer 2 different times and families can choose either time. The first time is 10:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Our second option is from 1:00 p.m. -1:30 p.m. We are excited to meet your students!
Luau Day is happening this week! Wednesday, May 18th students will be enjoying a Luau during their lunch time. Please send your student to school in their best Hawaiian attire. Each student will receive a lei to celebrate.

We are exploring the possibility of having two tuition-free, full-day preschool classes at Southampton Road Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year. We are surveying parents and guardians of preschool age students to identify the level of interest in this program. There would be a maximum of 15 students per class, and all children would be selected by a lottery process. If your child will be 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2022 and you are interested in enrolling your child in a full-day preschool through Westfield Public Schools, please complete this survey. https://bit.ly/FullDayPreschoolPilotSurvey
Welcome Mr. Czuchra! Paper Mill welcomes Mr. Shawn Czuchra to our school community. Mr. Czuchra will be our Interim Assistant Principal while Mrs. Fiore is home with her newborn baby. Please join me in welcoming Mr. Czuchra to Paper Mill!
Please do not forget that Friday, March 11th is a Professional Development Day for schools. There is no school on Friday.
