On March 17, seventeen staff members at Westfield Technical Academy competed against a combined boys and girls varsity basketball team to cap off School Spirit Week, and to raise money for the Robert P. Ollari Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Assistant Principal Kevin Daley said the game, which the students won “handily,” despite ringer state Sen. John Velis playing with the faculty, raised $1,000 for the fund that Daley said will go to several seniors at the school.
