Tina Gorman from the Westfield Senior Center obtained a grant for "Sand for Seniors".
Fifty area seniors were given a 5 gallon pail of sand/salt mixture with a scoop and lid to use on there stairs and walkways during the winter months to prevent falls. The Allied Health shop and some Allied Health SkillsUSA members assisted in the filling and delivery of the buckets under the guidance of Maureen Baillargeon Allied Health Dept Chair and SkillsUSA Chapter Advisor.
