Hello WTA Family!

Here we are on the heels of the recent visit of Governor Baker and Lieutenant Governor Polito.  As I watch the autumn leaves blow by my window here on Smith Avenue, I smile as this very bright and advantageous September gives way to a new month!

It’s been something of a whirlwind, but we’re already five weeks deep into the 2022-2023 school year, and, all around, it’s been a fantastic start.  In particular, our new freshmen, the Class of 2026, have fallen into the new routine of high school life and their exploratory rotations like veterans.  And more than 30 of our seniors are already out on Co-Op, with a few more waiting in the wings. Congratulations on a job very well done!

October is shaping up to be a VERY busy month at WTA! Among other things, our freshmen will transition from their one-day Exploratory Rotations to their self-selected round of one weeks, where will have the opportunity to more deeply engage five of their top six programs of interest for one-week per program. They will also receive ongoing career development throughout these one-week rotations and, ultimately, will narrow their final choices to their top two programs prior to the close of the Second Marking Period in late December.

In closing, I encourage everyone in the WTA Family to tune into “Tiger Talk Live:   The Carol, Kev, and Joe Show”, each Thursday morning at 8:00 on 89.5 WSKB FM Radio, for news of all things WTA.  Remember, “You’re in the flow with Carol, Kev, and Joe!”  Also, our very own Tiger’s Pride Restaurant has already had its grand opening for the 2022-20223 School Year, so be sure to check for updates and weekly menus here and on the WTA Facebook Page.

And, as always, please know how grateful I am for all that you do on behalf of WTA!

Best Regards,

Joe Langone
