Science Fair

This year’s science and technology fairs for high schoolers will be held virtually at the local, regional and state levels, starting with the submissions by students at Westfield High School and Westfield Technical Academy of five-minute videos explaining their projects.

“We spent some time revamping and rethinking how to safely do science fair,” said Lauren Figy Cadigan, supervisor of science, technology and engineering for Westfield Public Schools. She said the student videos are due Feb. 9. Thirty projects from each high school will be selected to continue onto a live judging on Google Meet, during which students will answer questions about their projects that are posed to them live.
