Chef Monica Hannoush Guarnieri of Shortstop Bar & Grill has high praise for the cooperative education students from the culinary arts program that Westfield Technical Academy has placed at the restaurant over the last six years.

“They’re great! It’s nice to have students to mold and train. They want to be here. It’s refreshing,” Guarnieri said. She said the students want the hours and are willing to cover for others. “They want to work,” she added.
