The Westfield Foundation for Education (WFE), https://www.westfieldfoundation.org, is an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit which seeks both board members and volunteers to assume responsibility of the organization as of July 1, 2022. Prior to the pandemic, leaders planned a variety of fundraising events, most well-known for hosting the city’s first Pocketbook Bingo. Proceeds of these events provided grant funding for enrichment materials and experiences for students at schools throughout the district. New participants will have the opportunity to either utilize the previously successful structure or develop an innovative approach to supporting our community’s students and teachers.

· IRS recommends a minimum of three board members or “directors”
Due to other commitments, the existing board members are no longer able to continue WFE. If you are interested in fulfilling either a leadership role or serving as a volunteer, please contact Westfield.foundation2013@gmail.com. In the event the organization is unable to gain a new leadership team by July 1, 2022, the nonprofit will be dissolved.
